Privacy Policy
FastSerial is based in the Netherlands, European Union.
Under the EU and UK's GDPR, you need a valid reason to use personal information — this is called a "lawful basis." There are six lawful bases for processing under the GDPR: Consent, Performance of a Contract, Legitimate Interests, Legal Obligation, Vital Interests, or Public Tasks.
In addition to needing lawful basis, you must also notify your users about why you use their personal information (Article 13).
FastSerial stores email addresses exclusively under 'Consent' and 'Legitimate Interests':
1) User information is never shared or sold to third parties.
2) User information is only used to notify about relevant communications or promotional materials.
User information is only retained as long as they wish to remain subscribed.
When a user unsubscribes, their information is immediately and permanently removed without recoverable traces.
If FastSerial is victim to a security incident in which information may have been accessed, collected, used, or disclosed without authorization, certain laws and regulations in the EU and UK require notifying relevant data protection authorities within 72 hours. Impacted individuals will also be notified in such an event.
To safeguard user data, FastSerial employs strict information security practices.
